About CANS
Welcome to the Crazy Apple News Site. This seems like a good place to clear up a few confusing points:
- CANS is not written, edited, endorsed, read, engaged to, or familiar with John Moltz, the erstwhile editor of CARS, or his evil arch-nemesis, John Gruber. CANS is edited by Nate Dickson and a staff of Ruby Ninja Androids.
- The Aforementioned Ruby Ninja Androids aren’t, like, Ninjas made out of crystalline corundum, they’re Ninjas that use the Ruby and Android programming environments.
- No, wait, I changed my mind. The solid Ruby Ninjas are cooler. So that’s what they are. But they’re totally real. And they write posts. About Apple stuff.
- The views expressed by “Q”, “A”, or any other characters on this site do not necessarily represent the views of the editors of this site. If they did, we would spend a lot of time arguing with ourselves, and that makes people nervous. They are points of view drawn from the Apple fan zeitgeist and presented–usually with a healthy dose of reducto ad absurdam– to make a point, or make fun of a point. Don’t worry about it.
The goal of CANS is to finally provide some made up hard facts about the world of Apple computers, where CARS used to provide unsubstantiated made up rumors. We are also totally different in that we are not in this to get a 30″ Cinema Display. No, we would never stoop to that level of begging. We would be happy with a 27″ iMac.

Mr. Dickson:
Your Ruby Ninja Androids
need to proof read your rag.
True dat.
Sometimes my wife does, but she has better things to do with her days than read Crazy Apple type websites.
